Are you pregnant and working? Know someone who is?

Marjorie Greenfield M.D. recently published a book with Yale University Press designed to be your go-to guide for working soon-to-be moms. Titled The Working Woman's Pregnancy Book, the book draws from Dr. Greenfield's years of experience as a practicing Ob/Gyn and medical writer to offer authoritative advice for all kinds of women who find themselves pregnant and working. In it, you'll find answers to important questions like:

  • Is my workplace safe for my developing baby?
  • When should I tell my employer that I am expecting?
  • How can I handle the discomforts of pregnancy when I need to work?
  • What laws will protect me when I take medical leave?

And as a promotion for the book, click here to enter a special photocontest at Mom Central and a chance to win a Babies ‘R Us gift certificate (1st prize) or a free copy of the The Working Woman’s Pregnancy Book (for 5 runners up). The best pictures of pregnant moms going about their daily routines at work will be selected by the author herself, Marjorie Greenfield M.D.
